Our work speaks for itself.This project showcases Knutsford Property Advisory’s ability to uncover potential where others may hesitate. When we first acquired the building, it was in a visibly run-down condition, yet it offered strong fundamentals and clear opportunity for transformation.
Despite concerns around the location being tucked away down a side street, we recognised that this sense of seclusion could become a defining strength. Rather than a drawback, the discreet setting aligned perfectly with the concept of a hidden, destination venue — an approach that ultimately helped the business thrive.
The property originally consisted of two small ground-floor rooms with additional space upstairs. To improve flow and usability, we created a new opening to connect the two ground-floor rooms, transforming them into a cohesive and inviting customer space.
Alongside this, two new toilet facilities were introduced, significantly enhancing the functionality of the venue and ensuring it met operational and customer expectations. The upstairs area was retained to support the overall layout and long-term flexibility of the business.
The result is a successful hospitality venue that fully capitalises on its character, layout and location — turning an overlooked building into a thriving bar with a strong identity.
